Da non dimenticare poi i film di apertura e chiusura, rispettivamente, Yakiniku Dragon di Chong Wishing (Japan, 2018) e Isle of Dogs di Wes Anderson (Stati Uniti, Germania, 2018).
Inoltre, una speciale menzione va ai due film italiani che hanno rappresentato il nostro paese in questa edizione: Hannah di Andrea Pallaoro (sezione World Cinemascape) e La Lucida Follia di Marco Ferreri di Anselma Dell’Olio (nella sezione Cinematology).
Il Jeonju International Film Festival si è dedicato al cinema meno conosciuto, indipendente e di registi alle prime armi ma questa edizione ha visto anche film più commerciali, dando una vasta scelta al pubblico, che, da quanto abbiamo notato, è stato molto curioso ed attivo nella partecipazione agli eventi quali Guest Visit o Cinema Class, creano un interessante dialogo tra registi, attori, presentatori e spettatori stessi.

It has been almost a week since the nineteenth edition of the Jeonju International Film Festival has finished and the list of winners is as follows:

The Jeonju International Film Festival has dedicated itself to the lesser known, independent cinema and novice directors but this edition has also seen more commercial films, giving a wide choice to the public, which, from what we have noticed, has been very curious and active in participating in events such as Guest Visits or Cinema Classes, creating an interesting dialogue between directors, actors, presenters and spectators themselves.
